Hi,
The model is equipped with the connector of 6 pins. The light bulbs are used as lighting. That is "+" for the bulbs taken from the track. I decided to begin to remake the light on the LED. "+" take from the decoder.
To disassemble the model read the instructions or look

After removal of all boards, we start changeover of bulbs. For a start we cut tracks

solder resistors

then from residuals of a prototyping board, I made the base on which I will solder a LED

further we solder wires to a board

and a LED which soldered to preparation from a prototyping board

From the tender to the engine there are 5 wires (a track of 2 pieces, the motor of 2 pieces and "-" for light back buffer lamps), in a connective crosspiece, which not folding. We need to stretch through it still a "+" wire, the benefit a place is, but simply it won't turn out. For this purpose we take a thin wire and we stretch

then the blue wire is soldered to it and we drag it through a crosspiece, then unsolder the wire.

At boards of the tender we cut tracks

we solder resistors and a LED

then on a double-side adhesive tape we paste a LED into place where there was a lamp

As the place is practically not present under the decoder and the speaker, decided to take out weight from a boiler, for this purpose it is necessary to unstick accurately a furnace leaf from a boiler. weight isn't fixed in a boiler, it is simply inserted into tension. We take out weight and we see that in it there is a dredging. We paste the speaker and the decoder on a double-side adhesive tape

also we push everything back in a boiler.

We paste into place a furnace leaf.

In the engine we remove 6 pins the connector and we do 8 pins of

We solder wires to the connector which go from the tender and a board of the engine. We put an engine board into place, a LED on a double-side adhesive tape to the place of a bulb.

Now on a double-sided adhesive tape we paste 8 pins the connector into place where there were 6 pins earlier and we connect the decoder

Also we put a boiler on the place

Further we assemble the locomotive and we check

We watch result
